Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Wells Fargo, Raymond James

Wells Fargo Asset Management has appointed Yeng Felipe Butler as head of its liquidity client group. Butler, who will be based in Boston, Massachusetts, will report to Nico Marais, chief executive of WFAM.

Butler will manage WFAM’s short-duration and cash management business, which has about $156 billion in assets under management and includes capabilities such as money market mutual funds and customized liquidity accounts.

Butler joins WFAM from State Street Global Advisors, where she most recently served as global head of cash business, overseeing a global team of 30 short-term fixed income investment sales professionals. In her nearly nine years with State Street, Butler worked in a number of roles, including strategic leader for fiduciary advisory solutions and head of US cash business. She began her career in sales and marketing with Merrill Lynch.

Raymond James
Raymond James has brought over advisors Greg Vandergrift and Zach Vandergrift to the firm’s advisor broker/dealer in Orlando and Tampa, Florida.

Joining the two advisors at Raymond James are practice business coordinator Kristin Lane and registered client service associate Joshua Godsil. Together, the team operates as Vandergrift Financial Group of Raymond James.

Previously, Greg Vandergrift was managing director and financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial. He also founded and was president of Delaney Financial Group, a SEC-registered investment advisory firm affiliated with LPL Financial.

Before joining Raymond James, Zach Vandergrift was a financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial. He holds Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses, and life, health and variable annuity licenses.
